Inter-Railing | Travel Diary 2014.

On the 1st of July 2014, Alex and I did something very different to what we would normally do. We departed on our 2 week Inter-railing trip. It was our third holiday together (first being a week in Crete, second being a week in Turkey) and we wanted to do something totally different to the norm but also get a taster for 'life on the road'. What better way than a 2 week travelling trip in Europe (close to home) to give you a taste of what travelling abroad might be like. We always had a big travelling trip in our books so this was going to be a great experience for us.
It took us around 5 months to plan (around attending uni and never being in the same room to plan!!) so when the time finally came we were soo excited! I have to say the trip taught me a whole different level of independence, it showed me how much trust I could put into someone and it showed me that I completely love seeing the world. If you've always wanted to travel but you're scared or worried to leave home then I would recommend Inter-railing. It's a lot closer to home, resulting in cheaper flights if you do panic and want to come home but it can also be as long or as short as you want.

First stop- Brussels!

A Day At The Beach In Bournemouth | Lifestyle.

One of my favourite places in the world to be at is the beach.

I recently came back to university having been at home for a week and much to my delight my partner, Alex joined me! We woke up on one beautiful morning and made the spontaneous decision to go and see Bournemouth beach as I had not yet been (even after having lived here for the past 8 months) and neither had Alex. I was very keen to go so we got the bus into town. I decided to show Alex around the town first as he's never been- then it was onto the most exciting part, THE BEACH! We walked through the beautiful gardens on the way and stopped off to get some ice creams of course! We ate them whilst walking along the beach front, picking out shells and just plain old messing around. It was getting late so we walked along the pier which was beautiful, watched some fishing and of course played some arcade games before heading back. Upon walking through the gardens again we came across the friendliest squirrels ever, I absolutely adored them! We also came across a crazy golf course- Alex having never played crazy golf and myself loving it we had a game which was brilliant fun and the course was empty so we got to be as long as we pleased. Even after I managed to score 2 hole in ones Alex won the game by 5 points. It was honestly the best day I've had since living here. The entire day was spontaneous and free flowing which is definitely my favourite kind of day. Although having a day planned is fun, it really is so much more fun when you have no plans, just go with the flow and see where the day takes you. I loved every moment of it.

Here are some images of the day.

It Must Be Love.

Hello All!

On April 25th my partner and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary! This was really exciting for us so we decided to do something slightly different and get really suited up. To celebrate the big 5 we went to Loch Fyne one of our favourite restaurants which we only tend to visit once a year so it's a real treat for us! My partner, Alex wore a blazer he had recently purchased - he looked so handsome. In fact this was the first time he had dressed so smart for a meal! I had spent months trying to find the perfect little dress and in fact I had but it had completely sold out the week before much to my disappointment however I did find the prettiest little playsuit. I have to say we both looked fab and it just felt so nice to get dressed up. But the biggest and best part was the present we got each other .. we bought each other our tickets to go InterRailing! We are super excited for this as it has taken us well over 5 months to completely plan and sort everything. I won't go into much detail but if you'd like to hear more about it then please let me know so I can do a separate post! But like I said it is something a little different to what we normally do, which tends to be a materialist gift and meal.

Alex turned up at my door looking very dapper with a bottle of prosecco which we enjoyed before we took off for dinner. This was taken before we left.

Thermae Bath Spa | Review.

Hi everyone!

My partner and I took a spontaneous trip to Thermae Bath Spa after thoroughly enjoying it the first time we went which was last year and it's honestly so worth a trip! Due to the spontaneous decision I, of course hadn't packed a bikini as I was visiting him (he lives here whilst attending university). We went down to SouthGate where I found the loveliest little bikini in H&M. I'm not usually the type to spend a lot of money on bikinis because they tend to get worn once a year. But I thought this little number was so worth the price;
  • The top was £9.99
  • The bottoms were £6.99
One of my favourite ways to style bikinis is to mix and match them. If you have the perfect pair of black bottoms you can honestly style them with any top half and that way you also save money as I find buying sets a little too expensive.

Questions & Answers.

Hello, and welcome to my blog. I am a 23 year old, female with a love for travel, food, beauty and fashion. I wanted to start a blog purely for my own purposes so I could look back on certain aspects of my life I want to remember most. I may only be 23 but I do hope in any way to shed light on the lives of  any one who stumbles across this blog with my life experiences and loves. To kick start this blog I am going to do a simple Q&A for you to get to know me a little.

What is your current fashion obsession? - Dresses-they can be styled up or down and can be worn all year round depending on how you style them!
